Ilaria Urbinati and Danny Masterson to embark on their own Confederacy in Los Angeles
On August 30, there will be new store in town...one that will make Maxfield look bad...and that is a hard thing to do.
Confederacy, a 5,000 square-foot space on Hollywood Boulevard just east of Vermont, has been created by Ilaria Urbinati (one of the nicest celebrity stylists out there, was a buyer for popular stores such as Satine and Milk...and a fun loving quirky girl).
You will never guess who her partner is.... None other than actor Danny Masterson (yes, That 70's Show).
What will the store carry? Alaia, Proenza Schouler, Margiela, Zac Posen, Jenni Kayne, Mayle, Band of Outsiders, Vena Cava, Anna Sui, Nom de Guerre, Patrick Ervell and Opening Ceremony.
Even the store uniforms will be special... designed by Rag & Bone. Nice!!
Confederacy will also carry and array of books and beauty merchandise- that's not all, when shoppers get too tired to shop anymore.... kick back at the cafe. Those who love art can take a look at what the gallery has to offer- which will feature the work of Francis Bacon, Julian Schnabel and Francesco Clemente.
"It's not intimidating, and it's definitely not dark and brooding," insists Urbinati.
We think it will be a great place to hang out!
We can't wait to check it out!!
Congrats!! We are very excited....
